I graduated from the University of Tennessee, with a Bachelors degree in Biological Science, with a concentration in Biochemical Cellular Molecular Biology. My future ambition is to play a key role in protecting, and improving human health through researching the effects of the human body in response to chemicals, mutations, or diseases. I’ve studied neurodegeneration, and neuroprotective cell signaling pathways through studying how cortical neuronal cells react to different excitotoxic insults, and reactive oxygen species. I’ve had the honor of working with multiple cell lines, and hope to broaden my tissue-culture experience by becoming part of the team here at the VUMC Center for Bone Biology.

  • Protein Assasys
  • Glutamate Toxicity
